## Installing

On Debian or Ubuntu, amd64 or arm64:

Replace `runex` with any package in the table. Installing
`shortarrow-archive-keyring` by name keeps the keyring, and the keys it
holds up to date, after the tool is removed.

to run the registry in [docs/operations.md](docs/operations.md).

On 2026-10-21, after the first rebuild, deployed from `main` at 016eab2

GitHub runners, the install guide's steps downloaded the keyring,
`apt update` verified `InRelease` against it, and
`shortarrow-archive-keyring` 2026.10.21.1 installed by name.
- In `debian:bookworm` and `ubuntu:24.04` containers on amd64, `apt`
installed `runex` 0.1.21-1 and `gitreant` 0.3.0-1 by name through the
`pool/` redirect to their release assets, and `gitreant --version`
printed `gitreant 0.3.0`. Asking for `runex` 0.1.99-1, which the index
does not hold, failed.
