Review comments at @bucket/corepack.json:
- Line 20: **Do not replace Node.js's npm shim by default.**
When Scoop's shims precede Node.js on `PATH`, this routes `npm` through Corepack
instead of Node.js's bundled npm. Corepack downloads a separate npm copy, which
does not use the persistent prefix configured in `bucket/nodejs.json`. Without a
separate prefix override, global packages can become unavailable after a Node.js
update. Remove the `npm` and `npx` entries; upstream also leaves these shims
disabled by default.

- Line 7: **State the supported Node.js versions.**
Corepack 0.36.0 requires `^22.22.2 || ^24.15.0 || >=26.0.0`; Node.js 20 and 25
are not supported. Add this requirement so users of version managers can select
a compatible runtime.

- Line 8: **Use the existing Node.js manifest name.**
`main/node` does not exist at the reviewed revision. The suggested command
therefore fails. Change it to `scoop install main/nodejs`.

Summary
Corepack package manifest bucket/corepack.json
Adds Corepack 0.36.0 release metadata, archive extraction settings, command shims, a Node.js requirement note, GitHub version checking, and a version-templated auto-update URL.
Priority: Normal
Merge Risk: Moderate · up to 698b1
Installing this manifest can put Corepack's npm ahead of Node.js's own npm. Global npm packages may then be lost when Node.js updates. The installation notes also give a command that fails and leave out the supported Node.js versions. Remove the npm and npx shims and fix the notes before merging.

Explanation
The new bucket/corepack.json implements issue #8786. It defines Corepack 0.36.0 as a full version and uses the version-specific GitHub release archive with a SHA-256 hash. The manifest provides the requested non-GUI Node.js project package-manager version manager. It uses a standard archive install with no pre-install or post-install scripts. The issue supplies the English documentation and popularity evidence.

Do not replace Node.js's npm shim by default.

My main concern is that it's essentially a launcher wrapper. It won't run without a Node environment anyway. Right now, our manifests already have wrappers for Java packages and Python packages, which feels a bit out of place. If a dedicated package manager exists, installations should belong there instead.
That said, I certainly understand the role corepack plays in the Node.js ecosystem. I'll leave the call to the other maintainers, as I've already closed one PR.
