Document the verified v2.8.0 evidence-delivery metrics, keeping build provenance separate from release validation and historical benchmark scores. Add the September 9 disposition of all 46 reviewed CodeQL findings; GitHub now reports zero open code-scanning alerts and zero Dependabot alerts.
Validation: metrics checked against the frozen public summary (including unrounded byte/latency deltas), relative links checked, and git diff --check passed. Runtime source and dependencies are unchanged. Release v2.8.0 is being built from the already merged and CI-validated implementation.
