WalkthroughThe converter can write tetrahedral meshes to USD while preserving tetrahedron connectivity. The heart tutorial updates stress smoothing, rendering, and export. Surface remeshing now suppresses warnings matching ChangesTetrahedral USD Output and Stress Visualization

Review comments at @src/monai_physio/convert_vtk_to_usd.py:
- Line 92: Update from_files to accept and forward the output_tet_mesh option to
ConvertVTKToUSD, defaulting it to false. In the mesh-processing branch, only
extract the surface when extract_surface is enabled and output_tet_mesh is
disabled, preserving unstructured tetrahedral meshes for tetrahedral output.
Review comments at @src/monai_physio/vtk_to_usd/usd_mesh_converter.py:
- Around line 121-126: Update create_time_varying_mesh to compare
tet_vertex_indices for tetrahedral frames and detect connectivity changes
independently of surface-face arrays. When tetrahedral connectivity changes,
author time samples for both tetVertexIndices and the corresponding surface
topology attribute, while preserving existing behavior for unchanged
connectivity and non-tetrahedral meshes.
- Line 158: Raise the project’s usd-core minimum dependency to an OpenUSD
version whose TetMesh Python wrapper exposes FindInvertedElements, ensuring the
call in the tetrahedral conversion flow remains supported across all allowed
installations.

@tutorials/tutorial_18_duke_heart_physics_informed_motion_infer.py:
- Line 125: Update _cell_edges to deduplicate the concatenated bidirectional
edge pairs before returning them, ensuring _stress_at_points averages each
distinct directed neighbor once.

before the logarithm and USD export.

ConvertVTKToUSD gains an opt-in output_tet_mesh flag that writes a
tetrahedral unstructured grid as a UsdGeomTetMesh (tet indices, USD-computed
surface faces, per-frame points and displayColor) instead of its extracted
surface. Default behavior is unchanged.
Tutorial 18 now exports the tet mesh to USD, colors it by log10 von Mises
stress with a dark-red-to-yellow colormap, smooths the nodal stress over mesh
edges, and median-filters only the rendered surface so smoothing cannot
invert tetrahedra.
