Approved at a3a1e7d. Citation-only, and every figure is unchanged. I checked:
- Fuel duty, line 9: the Table 6.1 link now opens the spreadsheet itself (HTTP 200).
- Fuel duty, line 16: the policy costings link now opens AB26_Policy_Costing.pdf (HTTP 200).
- PTA, the Pension Credit note: both ONS figures match their bulletins:
- the September 2026 Average weekly earnings bulletin gives total earnings growth of 3.9% for May to July 2026;
- the September 2026 Consumer price inflation bulletin gives CPI of 3.5% in the 12 months to September 2026.
- The £250.70 a week: it matches the explainer's £13,036.40 a year (÷ 52), and £241.30 × 1.039 = £250.71.
- CI:

#1475 lands next. It moves line 9's official figure to the OBR's Table 1.1 (£574m and £782m) and keeps both of these links. Thanks, Pavel.

Brings in Pavel Makarchuk's primary-source links from #1476 (d1f01b9) and keeps both: - the policy costings link to AB26_Policy_Costing.pdf (line 16), which merges unchanged; - the Table 6.1 spreadsheet link, which now sits on the note under the cost table, where this PR names Table 6.1. Line 9 conflicted: #1476 kept HM Treasury's £575m/£780m from Table 6.1, and this PR cites the OBR policy Table 1.1 figure (£574m/£782m) as the government's estimate, which the OBR used but could not certify. Resolved to the Table 1.1 text, as the coordinator relayed. Nothing else from #1476 changes. Its PTA post edits are not touched here. Max's style rule: 'is above' becomes 'exceeds'; prepositional uses of 'above' stay. Three lines: the fuel duty post's Pension Credit guarantee and diesel price sentences, and the PTA post's CPI sentence (from #1476). Style only; no figures change. …ied (and 'exceeds' style fixes) (#1475) * Fuel duty post: cite the official figure from OBR Table 1.1, uncertified The official figure is now the OBR's policy Table 1.1 line (−£574m and −£782m), with Table 6.1's rounded −£575m and −£780m given as context. The post also says the OBR used the government's estimate but could not certify it (EFO October 2026, chapter 3, footnote 1). Nothing else in the post changes. Citation fixes for two of today's Autumn Budget 2026 posts. No figures change.
Fuel duty cut extension
AB26_Policy_Costing.pdf.Pension Tax Allowance
Line 994: the April 2027 State Pension rise (3.9%) and September 2026 CPI (3.5%) had no source. The line now cites the ONS bulletins:
It also ties the rise to the explainer's £250.70 a week (£241.30 × 1.039).
The Energy bills and Triple Lock posts already cite primary sources. Open PR #1474 also edits the PTA post, but in different hunks (lines 739–756 and 987–993).
