Summary

Applies the four edits in #1467 to the fuel duty post (app/src/data/posts/articles/fuel-duty-cut-extension.md, added in #1459). Text only; no numbers change.

  1. Table headings: "Duty saved per litre" and "Duty and VAT saved per litre".
  2. Household definitions: the appendix now gives the net income definition and the shared assumptions (London, 1,000 litres, the October 2026 projections) as a lead, then one bullet per household: the single adult, the couple with two children on Universal Credit, and the pensioner on Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction.
  3. Pump prices: the sentence ends at "…buys fewer litres today."
  4. Definition subsections: removed "Effective marginal tax rate" and "Poverty and deciles". The other Budget posts (Pension Tax Allowance, energy bills, Carer's Allowance in Add blog post: the Carer's Allowance earnings taper in the Autumn Budget 2026 #1464) have no such subsections. Two pieces stay elsewhere: a one-sentence definition of the absolute poverty rate next to the poverty result in the main text (the poverty rule used in Add blog post: the Pension Tax Allowance in the Autumn Budget 2026 #1457), and the decile basis under "Population run".

Closes #1467.

Checks

  • Website content and chart tests pass (18). Prettier is clean.
  • I checked the page on a local dev server: the new headings, the household bullets, and the appendix sections.

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

- 'Duty saved per litre' and 'Duty and VAT saved per litre' headings
- One bullet per household in the appendix, after a shared lead
- End the pump price sentence at 'buys fewer litres today'
- Remove the 'Effective marginal tax rate' and 'Poverty and deciles'
subsections, as in the other Budget posts; keep a one-sentence poverty
definition in the main text and the decile basis under Population run
