Merges #86, #87, #88 and #89 together. All four were green on their own but conflict with each other in the generated files, because each regenerated config/*/map.tsv, progress/pal/report.json and the README table. No file under src/ is touched by more than one of them.

Merge this with a merge commit, not a squash: the four PR heads then land on main, and GitHub marks those PRs as merged with their authors' commits intact.

How the generated files were resolved

• config/{us,pal}/map.tsv: the union of the rows the four PRs generated (171 added per file, 0 removed), deduplicated and put back in match_map.py's order.
• progress/pal/report.json, progress/report.json and the README tables: rebuilt with tools/progress.py --write.

Checks

• tools/progress.py --check and tools/match_map.py --check pass for both versions.
• PAL report: 5,855 → 6,026 functions (+171 = 52 + 15 + 54 + 50) and 464,252 → 495,712 bytes, which equals the sum of the four PRs' gains.
• US report: unchanged.

Not checked

match_map.py --write was not rerun, because the machine that prepared this has no PAL disc. The map rows are the contributors' own and have not been rechecked against the PAL bytes.
