A swipe down from the very top edge opens the app menu instead of only showing the status bar #213
Found while checking #202 on a TECNO KM4 (Android 15): a swipe that starts at the very top edge (y = 0) opens the app's menu, as a tap on the picture would, and also brings in the status bar. It was the same on 2.11 before #206.
Expected: a system-edge swipe only shows the bars, and only a tap on the picture opens the menu.
Likely cause: the touch listener treats the swipe's ACTION_DOWN/ACTION_UP as a single tap. Fix ideas: ignore touches that start inside the system gesture insets (WindowInsets.getSystemGestureInsets() on Android 10+, or a few dp from the edge), or open the menu only on onSingleTapConfirmed with no movement.
