Android 15 (OPPO): status and navigation bars stay over the video #202

Description

@compot-dev

A screenshot from an OPPO CPH2725 (Android 15, SDK 35, v2.10-based test build, single view on a KY UFO toy, #187): the status bar (clock, icons) and the navigation bar on the right stay visible over the video. The picture runs under them. On our TECNO KM4 (Android 15) the bars are hidden in single view.

To do

  1. Find out how it reproduces: whether the bars show from the start, only after a swipe from the edge or a tap, or after a dialog, menu, WebUI or rotation. Check what the app sets now (immersive / WindowInsetsController, BEHAVIOR_SHOW_TRANSIENT_BARS_BY_SWIPE, edge-to-edge with target SDK 36) and what it does after focus changes (onWindowFocusChanged), onResume and closing WebUI (WebUI: the Close button sits under the status bar on Android 15 (edge to edge) #169, fix: WebUI inside the system bars on Android 15 (#169) #180).
  2. Make the viewing modes (single, grid, U) always go back to full screen without bars, and let bars that are swiped in hide again by themselves. Leave WebUI with its insets as they are (fix: WebUI inside the system bars on Android 15 (#169) #180).
  3. Check on the TECNO, and ask the reporter in new feature: receiving udp video strem from cheap toys with wifi cam's #187 to check on the OPPO.
