Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is the status of this project?
liboauth2 is stable and in production use as the common engine underneath
mod_oauth2,
mod_sts,
ngx_oauth2_module,
ngx_sts_module and
ngx_openidc_module, which
double as its reference consumers. The library API itself is not (yet) frozen
and may change between releases.
2. Where's the documentation?
The Doxygen API reference for the public headers is published at
https://openidc.github.io/liboauth2/ and can be generated locally with
make doxygen (then browse doc/html/index.html).
The README
covers the features, dependencies and build instructions.
The ChangeLog
documents user-facing changes per release.
Documenting the headers is a work in progress, tracked in
issue #11: the main entry
points (oauth2.h, openidc.h, cfg.h, http.h, cache.h, session.h)
are covered; help with the remaining headers is appreciated.
3. Where can I ask questions?
Use the Discussions
tracker for community support. For commercial support contracts, professional
services, training, and use-case specific support, contact
OpenIDC at
sales@openidc.com.
