Request WebRTC rigs with the CloudMatch browser identity - #48
Addresses #47. Switch requests WebRTC signaling but identifies itself to CloudMatch as NATIVE / NVIDIA-CLASSIC, which the issue reports now allocates a classic RTSP streamer instead.
Use BROWSER / WEBRTC, client version 2.0.89.154, a plain Chrome user agent, and clientPlatformName: browser for session creation and network tests. Keep the same identity for polling, stopping, and authorization retries. Authentication and catalog identities are unchanged.
Dev's CloudMatch headers still use the native identity for its native streaming path, so copying those headers would not address Switch's mismatch.
Adapted the identity changes from the reporter's tested patch. Unlike that patch, this keeps appLaunchMode: 2 and the existing controller bitmap to avoid changing Switch's gamepad launch behavior. The reporter validated mode 1 on real Switch hardware, not this mode-2 combination, so hardware validation is still required.
Verification:
Added cloud_session_identity_test to the host suite. It failed before the fix on the missing browser header, then passed across network test, create, poll, stop, and 401 refresh retries. ASan/UBSan also passed.
Existing cloud_session_protocol, app_launch_mode_policy, and stream_bitrate_pipeline tests passed.
Switch build attempted but unavailable here: /opt/devkitpro/cmake/Switch.cmake is missing. No NRO build or live NVIDIA/Switch gameplay verification is claimed.
Summary by CodeRabbit
Updates
Cloud streaming session requests now identify as browser-based clients and use consistent browser version and user-agent details when starting, checking, or stopping a session.
Network test sessions now report a browser platform rather than a Windows platform.
Session requests retain their existing authorization retry behavior while using the updated browser identity.
Cloud-session start, poll, stop, and network-test requests now use CloudMatch browser identity values, including browser platform metadata, client version, and user-agent. A new test checks request headers, POST fields, session IDs, and behavior with and without 401 retries.

Session start, poll, stop, and network-test requests use browser platform metadata and CloudMatch client identity values. The test checks request fields, returned session IDs, and request and refresh counts with retries disabled and enabled.
OpenCloudGaming/OpenNOW-Switch#47 — The issue describes a CloudMatch failure from selecting a classic RTSP streamer. This change updates session and network-test requests to use the browser and WebRTC identity.
Merge Risk: Low · up to e5674
The browser identity change has no established production blocker. A small test improvement should ensure start requests cannot bypass the browser-platform payload checks; this is suitable for bounded follow-up.

Assert the start-session method in the identity test.
The test mock checks the sessionRequestData body and its browser-platform payload fields only when method == "POST". For any other method, the mock returns the same success response. A GET to the start URL (v2/session?...) therefore passes every assertion and skips the browser-platform payload checks. Production sends the start request with POST, so this is a regression gap in the test, not a current defect. Polling uses GET on v2/session/<id>, so the method check must apply only to the start URL.
Suggested fix
- if (method == "POST")+ if (url.find("/v2/session?") != std::string::npos)+ assert(method == "POST");+ if (method == "POST")

Update the request mock in the identity test to assert that requests to the
start-session URL, identified by “/v2/session?”, use POST before checking the
request body. Keep polling requests to “/v2/session/<id>” eligible to use GET.
