Original OpenCCU rootfs patch: 0144
Original filename: 0144-WebUI-ControlForMaintenanceChannel.patch
Original patch: https://github.com/OpenCCU/OpenCCU/blob/662691f15/buildroot-external/package/openccu-base/rootfs-patches/0144-WebUI-ControlForMaintenanceChannel.patch (as prepared by OpenCCU/OpenCCU#4440 and fixed by OpenCCU/OpenCCU#4441)
Original changes: OpenCCU/OpenCCU@f9d4b3a68 (OpenCCU/OpenCCU#1487), OpenCCU/OpenCCU@45d3eb004 (rework for all known maintenance datapoints, OpenCCU/OpenCCU#1538), OpenCCU/OpenCCU@f545e06ac and OpenCCU/OpenCCU@7b02533dd (RSSI values), OpenCCU/OpenCCU@b06ab3c55, OpenCCU/OpenCCU@cde5480c0 and OpenCCU/OpenCCU@76d061000 (TIME_OF_OPERATION, OpenCCU/OpenCCU#2008)
Preparation before migration: OpenCCU/OpenCCU#4440 (moves the stringTableStickyUnreachTrue/False translations from rootfs patch 0104 to 0144)
Fixes before migration: OpenCCU/OpenCCU#4441 (ERROR_SABOTAGE, HEATING_COOLING and particulate matter sensor labels), found in the review of this PR

The maintenance channel (:0) of a device in "Status und Bedienung" has no control, so its datapoints are not visible. This applies the patch 1:1:

  • src/webui/rega/www/esp/datapointconfigurator.fn: for channels of type ictMaintenance (a ReGaHss channel type), call the new CreateDeviceMaintenanceChannel() and treat the channel as a known control.
  • src/webui/rega/www/esp/controls/maintenance.fn: CreateDeviceMaintenanceChannel() writes one tile per available maintenance datapoint, for the commonly known datapoints of BidCos and HmIP devices: ACTUAL_TEMPERATURE(_STATUS), CONFIG_PENDING, DATE_TIME_UNKNOWN, DEVICE_IN_BOOTLOADER, DUTY_CYCLE/DUTYCYCLE, the ERROR_* flags, ERROR_CODE, HEATING_COOLING, HUMIDITY_ALARM, INHIBIT, LOW_BAT/LOWBAT, OPERATING_VOLTAGE(_STATUS), RSSI_DEVICE/RSSI_PEER, SABOTAGE, SENSOR_ERROR, STICKY_SABOTAGE, STICKY_UNREACH, TEMPERATURE_LIMITER, TIME_OF_OPERATION(_STATUS), UPDATE_PENDING and UNREACH. Datapoints a device does not have are skipped. The texts of stringTableErrorSabotageTrue/False are swapped, so ERROR_SABOTAGE uses them the other way round (with a comment); HEATING_COOLING shows Cooling for 1, like CreateHeatingCooling(); ERROR_COMMUNICATION_PARTICLE_MATTER_SENSOR uses stringTableErrorCommunicationParticulateMatterSensorTrue/False (fix(webui): correct the sabotage, heating/cooling and fine dust labels of the maintenance tile OpenCCU#4441). Boolean datapoints show an _ALARM state ("[ALARM]"/"[ACKNOWLEDGED]"). RSSI values are shown in dBm (an ivtByte value is converted to a signed value, values below -200 are shown as "n/a"). TIME_OF_OPERATION (seconds) is shown in days, or in years and days from 365 days on. The file now ends with a newline.
  • src/webui/www/webui/js/lang/{de,en}/translate.lang.option.js: optionUnitY ("Jahre"/"Years").
  • src/webui/www/webui/js/lang/{de,en}/translate.lang.stringtable.js: stringTableStickyUnreachTrue/False for STICKY_UNREACH, moved to this patch by refactor(webui): move the sticky unreach translations from rootfs patch 0104 to 0144 OpenCCU#4440. All other translations used by the tile already exist here.

The line endings (CRLF for datapointconfigurator.fn, LF for the other files) and the encodings are preserved; the two trailing spaces after isKnownControl = true; and } are kept as in the original patch. The root www/ copies are unused legacy files and are left unchanged.

Other OpenCCU rootfs patches also modify datapointconfigurator.fn and the language files (0039, 0132 and 0155), and 0104 still uses the two stringTableStickyUnreach translations. They still apply with zero fuzz.

Validation

OpenCCU cleanup PR (removing patch 0144 and updating the pin): OpenCCU/OpenCCU#4442

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • New Features
    • Added maintenance information to device channels, including temperatures, status and error indicators, voltage, signal strength, and operating time.
    • Added labels for operating time in years and for whether communication was previously disrupted in English and German.

Generated by Claude Code

This applies OpenCCU rootfs patch 0144-WebUI-ControlForMaintenanceChannel.patch:

- The maintenance channel (:0) of a device in "Status und Bedienung" shows
the commonly known maintenance datapoints of BidCos and HmIP devices
  (e.g. UNREACH, STICKY_UNREACH, LOW_BAT, CONFIG_PENDING, DUTY_CYCLE,
  RSSI_DEVICE/RSSI_PEER, OPERATING_VOLTAGE, TIME_OF_OPERATION and the
error flags) instead of no control.
- RSSI values are shown in dBm ("n/a" below -200 dBm), TIME_OF_OPERATION
  in years and days.
- Add the optionUnitY and stringTableStickyUnreachTrue/False translations.

📝 Walkthrough

The change adds helpers that format maintenance datapoints and a function that configures their output. For maintenance channels, dcCreate() calls that function. English and German translations add labels for years and sticky communication status.

- Around line 366-367: Swap the `mnDPTrue` and `mnDPFalse` label assignments so
the maintenance tile matches `CreateHeatingCooling()`: `HEATING_COOLING` value 1
must display Cooling, and the opposite value must display Heating.

…the maintenance tile

This applies the fix of OpenCCU/OpenCCU#4441 to the maintenance channel
tile, as found in the review of this PR:

- ERROR_SABOTAGE: the texts of stringTableErrorSabotageTrue/False are
swapped, so use them the other way round.
- HEATING_COOLING: 1 means cooling, as in CreateHeatingCooling().
- ERROR_COMMUNICATION_PARTICLE_MATTER_SENSOR: use the existing
  stringTableErrorCommunicationParticulateMatterSensorTrue/False texts.
