⚡ LSend - Lightning Send

A modern, fluent Email API for Salesforce Apex

LSend provides a clean, chainable API for sending emails in Salesforce.

🚀 Quick Start

LSend.emails()
    .sender('Acme <noreply@acme.com>')

📦 Installation

Deploy the following classes to your org:

  • LSend.cls
  • EmailBuilder.cls
  • EmailAttachment.cls
  • EmailResult.cls
  • EmailException.cls
sf project deploy start --source-dir force-app/main/default/classes

Basic Email

With Sender Name

Using Static Resource HTML Templates

Create an HTML file as a Static Resource with {{variableName}} placeholders:

Important

The HTML file must be encoded in UTF-8. Otherwise, you will receive the error: System.StringException: BLOB is not a valid UTF-8 string

Bulk Sending (Avoid Governor Limits)

To avoid hitting the 10 sendEmail calls per transaction limit, use the .build() method to create Messaging.SingleEmailMessage objects and send them in a single batch.

EmailAttachment

Method Description
filename() Set the filename
content() Set content from Blob
contentType() Set MIME type
contentVersionId() Set from ContentVersion

EmailResult

Property/Method Description
success Boolean - was email sent
error String - error message if failed
id String - tracking ID
isSuccess() Check if successful
getError() Get error message
getId() Get tracking ID

⚠️ Salesforce Limits

  • Daily email limit: 5,000 per org (can vary by edition)
  • Single email limit: 150 recipients
  • Attachment size: 25 MB total
