This reverts commit 55c6f1f. Desktop smoke on main started failing right after #1991 merged: every journey times out waiting for the onboarding heading. #1991 has no production caller yet, so reverting it is behavior-neutral while the cause is confirmed. Risk: 🟢 low | Confidence: medium — pure revert; used to confirm whether #1991 broke desktop smoke on main.
Problem
Since #1991 merged, Desktop E2E smoke fails on every PR (including unrelated branches): all journeys time out waiting for the onboarding heading
Connect a coding agent. The last passing run (02:20 UTC) predates #1991; failures start with the first run whose merge tree includes it.Summary
Reverts #1991. It has no production caller yet (#1992 is unmerged), so this is behavior-neutral. If smoke passes here, #1991 is confirmed as the cause and will be re-landed with a fix.
