Acquire a binary

Currently, the only place to acquire a build of RoyalIRC is on the RoyalDev Bamboo server. It will be available on BukkitDev when it is out of beta. The latest binaries are always available here.

Install the binary

Move the JAR file to the plugins/ folder of your CraftBukkit installation. Start the server and stop the server (or, create plugins/RoyalIRC and copy the config.yml from GitHub into it to bypass the restart). Edit the new config in plugins/RoyalIRC/ to match what you need. See Configuration.

Start the server

Start up your server and watch for RoyalIRC's messages in the startup log. You should see a connection to the server and a "Bot initiated." message. In IRC, you should see your bot join. If messages are going in and out of IRC and Minecraft, RoyalIRC is installed correctly! Congratulations!
