Gentoo bug: ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'linuxcnc' #4717
checking for the sysconfig Python package... yes
checking for Python include path... -I/usr/include/python3.14
checking for Python library path... -L/usr/lib64 -lpython3.14
checking for Python site-packages path... /usr/lib/python3.14/site-packages
checking for Python platform specific site-packages path... /usr/lib/python3.14/site-packages
...
checking for site-package location... /usr/lib/python3/dist-packages
This is outside the search path where Python by default searches on Gentoo.
This should return: /usr/lib/python3.14/site-packages I believe but the key is not to break installs on other distros. On Gentoo specifically, this was working I believe prior to this commit: 2511cf1
I think SITEPY still needs some more work so the need to specify PYTHONPATH is no longer required.
