Summary

  • Create the current user's Run registry key when enabling autostart, avoiding a FileNotFoundError on Windows runners where the key does not exist.

Testing

  • tests/test_desktop.py: 14 passed locally.
  • Full test suite: 295 passed, 1 skipped locally.

- Hold syncs whose source is empty or unreadable instead of mirroring
the empty source onto the backup
- Cap deletions per sync (default 1000) and offer a one-off "Run anyway"
- Record deletes, checks, the settings used, and skipped scheduled runs
- Emit run_finished / run_held / run_skipped events for notifiers
- Add login: password (set on first visit), reverse-proxy header, or none
- Generate and keep SECRET_KEY automatically when it isn't set
- Track job health and overdue runs on the dashboard and health API
- Send configurable event notifications and heartbeat pings
- Dashboard opens with per-job health: healthy, failing, overdue,
warning (unusual deletes), pending; deadlines come from the schedule
or an optional "must succeed every N hours"
- GET /api/health returns the same report as JSON
- Apprise notifications for failures, held and skipped runs, overdue
and recovered backups, with per-event toggles and a test button
- Heartbeat ping (Healthchecks, Uptime Kuma push) while app and rclone
  are alive
- Document login, safety checks, health, and notifications
