PATCH /orgs/:orgId/domains/:domainName with { autorenew } shipped in instacloud-platform#453 and is deployed (prod 83cad76). The console drives it with a switch. The CLI has no command for it, so an agent — and anyone working from a terminal — cannot see or change whether a domain renews.
insta domain today: search, buy, attach, list, status. list and status both already read autorenew off the platform payload and print neither.
What it needs
- surface the current value in
insta domain list / status (it is in the response already);
- a way to change it —
insta domain renew <name> --off / --on, or a flag on an existing command, whichever fits the CLI's shape better than my guess does;
skills/insta/cli-reference.md gains the row, since that file is what an agent reads.
Why it matters beyond parity. Renewal is the one domain setting that costs money on a timer. A customer who wants to stop paying for a name has exactly one place to say so today, and an agent operating the account cannot do it on their behalf.
The repo's own routing rule (.claude/skills/insta-cloud-repo-map) says a platform behaviour change usually ships with a matching CLI command and skills update in the same change set. This one did not, and that is the gap.
