Contribution to IMOC25
The contributed package contains classes organized into two packages: Leakage and Force. This follows the exact structure within Modelica.Magnetic.FluxTubes.Shapes and these classes are intended to be included in the existing organization.
All necessary graphics are collected in the folder Images, to be included at the appropriate location within the Modelica file system (paths given in the contributed classes). The images are small in file-size, yet appear large when displayed on the screen. If there is an option to resize them, I'm very open to that. I'm just not aware of it.
The class LowerHalfHollowTorus is essentially included twice, the second time under the name CoaxCylindersEndFaces. The latter uses the name of an existing class, that aims to do the exact same thing as we propose here, yet our solution is more exact. This class uses the same nomenclature of parameters as the pre-existing class, in order to facilitate ease of use. Possibly it is not necessary to include both in Modelica.
The classes within Force each include a choice which of the three parameters t=r_o-r_i, r_o and r_i is to be kept fix. The choice depends on the actual use case, all three can be relevant (cf. my paper contributed to IMOC25). The preselected choice is t, not because it has the highest likelihood of being relevant in any given case, but because this one has been used in the pre-existing class Force.LeakageAroundPoles, so users might have come to expect this choice. For half hollow torus classes, the choice r_i=const is not included, as this appears to be a rather artificial case. In case of any demand, this could easily be included.
For any additional information on the formulae used, please refer to my paper "Analytical Treatment of Hollow Toroid Flux Tubes" or contact me directly.
