Overview

Created an R&D folder and added the sensor fusion research markdown file.

Technical Description

We researched different approaches for sensor fusion and vehicle state estimation. Documented tradeoffs between them and recommended the best starting point for our use case.

How Has This Been Tested?

We made sure to understand each approach at least on a high level.

Ticket Review

Answer the following:

• We were able to narrow down several approaches and identify the most viable ones

• Deciding which approaches wouldn't work

• We would start by researching the physics behind racing cars and what telemetry data is actually available for us
