- Use the running Pi MCP validator on new versions by default instead of rejecting versions outside an allowlist.
- Show unavailable validation as a warning with unknown state; preserve genuine configuration errors and legacy parsing behavior.
- Add forward-compatibility and warning-rendering regression coverage, including native parity with Pi 1.4 and 1.5.
- Verified: 596 tests, typecheck, lint, and Pi 1.5 startup smoke test; installed locally for testing.
