Proximity sensor only works when app in focus

Steps to reproduce the bug

1. Make a call
2. Switch to homescreen or another app
3. Activate the proximity sensor

Expected behavior

Screen should turn off

Nothing

Stock Telephone app behaves normally, additionally placing a call through the stock app but still having Fossify as the default behaves normally.
