Housekeeping after this session's work: closes backlog items that are genuinely done, and records UPD-001 as complete.

npm run lint prints nothing and exits 0, down from 15 errors (#29).

One item added

The README claims "eight applied researchers" for Summer 2026, where the roster holds seven and the site's own cohort card correctly says seven.

One item deliberately left open

While editing I nearly mis-closed the "Four projects over five bullets" item. Its note records that this is a deliberate call, not a bug — the heading was set to four to match the four /portfolio research areas, and AI Models Research is cohort work rather than one of those four questions.

I restored that history in full and left the item open, since it needs a decision rather than a fix. Worth flagging: the mismatch reads like an error to anyone who has not read the note.

GitHub issues — none closed, deliberately

I reviewed all 13 open issues. None are resolved by this session's work, so I closed none:

• Update Website with Guidelines #4 "Update Website with Guidelines" — asks for Prof. Rhodes' guidelines in publications, which is not the contributor documentation added in Add contribution guidelines and recommendations documents #18. There is now a Guidelines topic carrying six guides (GitHub 101, GitHub Workflow, GitHub Pages 101, Synthetic Data, Cloud GPU SSH, AI-Powered Research Questions), all dated July 2026. That may already satisfy it — I have commented on the issue asking, rather than closing on a guess.
• Add VS Code guideline (new students) + Connect to Claude + Tavily #3 "Add VS Code guideline + Connect to Claude + Tavily" — no such guide exists yet.
• Explainer Companion prompt used by CERAI - to use for other repos as a template #5 "Explainer Companion prompt" — belongs to open PR Add plain-language explainer companion report for the CoLab website #6.

The other ten are broader CoLab operations (partnerships, matchmaking, finance taskforce, meetings) rather than website work — which is exactly the taxonomy problem UPD-009 describes.
