- Fix trailing whitespace in README.md and CHANGELOG.md - Remove unreachable default case in client_config.dart getUserName method
Refresh runtime and development dependencies in pubspec.yaml, update the CI checkout action to actions/checkout@v6, and align the README installation snippet with the release version. Also add a 2.2.4 changelog entry summarizing the maintenance updates so the branch is ready for an upstream PR.
