Currently, there is information for the following courses:

1. Computer Sciences I: Algorithmic problem-solving, algorithm design, complexity analysis, data structures (linear and tree), and computational efficiency optimization.
2. Data Analysis Programming: Data manipulation with Pandas and Polars, ETL processes, descriptive analysis, data visualization, natural language processing, and exploratory data analysis.
3. Machine Learning: Advanced machine learning techniques, reinforcement learning fundamentals, generative models, deep learning optimization, online learning, and ML interpretability.
4. Python for Everyone: A set of notebooks with examples related to conditionals, loops, functions, tuples, lists, strings, dictionaries, files, and exceptions—everything useful for someone who wants to learn Python.
5. Systems Analysis: Systems thinking, systems engineering, analysis and design, robust system design, general systems theory paradigms, project management, and systems simulation.

Research

Also, there is documentation related to research, projects, and anything we want to openly share with anyone interested. You can dive into the research folder for more information.

Here is a brief description about me:

Academic Experience

• Computer Engineer, M.Sc. in Computer Engineering, and researcher for 16 years.
• 8 years as full-time associate professor at universities, in Computer Engineering programs.
• 3 years as lecturer professor for both universities and government STEM programs.
• Speaker at IEEE events and universities in Colombia, Brazil, and Bolivia.

Professional Experience

• PyCon Colombia and Python Bogotá co-organizer.
• 3 years as software engineer for several tech companies in Colombia.
• 3 years as Technical Leader of Machine Learning and Data Science at a USA startup.
• 1.5 years as MLOps Engineer for a Fintech company in LATAM.
• Currently, Senior Engineering Manager of Data Engineering and Machine Learning at Blend 360.
