What

Version 1.2.4 in every file that carries it; the Unreleased changelog section becomes 1.2.4 — A dark theme that works, better answers without a key, Linux and Windows betas (#78, #79–#83). The README download links move to the 1.2.4 Linux and Windows pre-releases, which are published right after the macOS release (until then those two links answer 404).

Release plan once merged: scripts/release-desktop.sh 1.2.4 (macOS, signed, notarized, offered by the updater to 1.2.2+), then the Linux and Windows bundle workflows on main and two pre-releases (v1.2.4-linux-experimental.1, v1.2.4-windows-experimental.1, never "latest", so the macOS updater manifest stays at releases/latest).

Checked before

  • python3 scripts/release_check.py --version 1.2.4: all OK except the branch warning.
  • Version, changelog, release, macOS-minimum and portability tests pass.

Checklist

  • No migrations.
  • CHANGELOG.md section for 1.2.4.
  • No personal data and no secrets.

Version 1.2.4 everywhere (pyproject, __init__, tauri.conf.json, Cargo.toml
and .lock, desktop/package.json and lock); the Unreleased changelog becomes
1.2.4 (dark theme, no-key answers, note actions in your language, wording;
Linux and Windows betas). The README download links point at the 1.2.4
Linux and Windows pre-releases, published right after the macOS release.
