The GoPiGo3 is a delightful and complete robot for the Raspberry Pi that turns your Pi into a fully operating robot. GoPiGo3 is a mobile robotic platform for the Raspberry Pi first developed by Dexter Industries, and acquired by Modular Robotics. See GoPiGo.io.
GoPiGo OS is an easy to get started with, all packaged OS for the GoPiGo3. It offers Bloxter, and JupyterLab 2 through a web browser. It offers a direct way to interact with the robot without needing to install additional software on your computer. All you need is a browser. You can download it and install it on your SD card.
Note: GoPiGo OS also allows you to SSH into the robot and have direct access to Raspberry Pi OS. You can also use VNC viewer and access the Raspberry Pi Desktop.
You can find installation instructions for the GoPiGo3 on Raspberry Pi OS in Installation_FAQ.md. Raspberry Pi 3B+, 4 and 5 are supported. Raspberry Pi Zero is not supported. Raspberry Pi 5 is not recommended unless you truly need the extra performance, as it is more expensive and has a higher power consumption than the 4. There is a known issue with the power button on the Raspberry Pi 5 that comes into conflict with the GoPiGo3's power button, so if you have a Raspberry Pi 5, we recommend using the power button on the GoPiGo3 instead of the one on the Raspberry Pi 5
