Org files remain the source of truth for people using an editor and agents using the CLI, API or MCP. This change adds a shared task workflow and browser board, with an embedded server watcher that updates the disposable index when files change.
Tasks support dependencies, assignment, expiring claims, evidence submission and review by a different actor. All interfaces use the same workflow and revision-checked writes. Direct requirement edits invalidate existing claims or review submissions; moving tasks preserves their IDs, and manual completion or deletion is reflected on refresh. Actors provide attribution, not authenticated approval identities, and coordination is scoped to one local filesystem.
The same binary provides the CLI, optional HTTP board/API and MCP. Org-roam stays an extension. The change also fixes repeated search traversal, agenda inconsistencies and empty-property parsing.
Validation:
Includes audited stale-workflow recovery and native macOS/Windows packaged watcher, locking and API/MCP checks. This does not publish a new release candidate. Usage and limitations are in docs/task-workflow.md.
