See Last In, First Out behavior one operation at a time.
A small React application for students learning stacks and developers practicing state-driven interfaces.
- Push a typed value onto the stack.
- Pop the most recently added value.
- Highlight the top item and distinguish values with colors.
- Show feedback for successful actions, empty input, and an empty stack.
- Press Enter to push the current value.
With Node.js/npm installed, open the source directory:
npm install
npm startOpen localhost:3000. Use npm run build to generate the static build.
Push A, then B, then C. Click Pop: C is removed first. Continue popping to reach the empty-stack message.
src/App.js stores the stack, input, and feedback in React state. Push appends to a copied array; pop removes its last element; the rendered stack follows that state. src/App.css provides the visualization styling, and src/index.js mounts the application.
This is an in-memory teaching tool. Reloading the page resets the stack; there is no backend or persisted history.
Issues and pull requests are welcome. Describe the stack behavior you are changing and include an example showing the expected sequence of operations.
