You were right not to merge on faith. Deploys used to run only on main, so this PR had no clickable preview.

Stable alias for later pushes to the same branch. Immutable deploy: https://04cac5fc.froq.pages.dev

Move the pointer on empty paper, then over Posts / Corpus / Dashboard. Production froq.me will not change until this merges.

Also on the PR

  • CI now deploys every pull request to a non-main Pages branch. main remains production.
  • Local recording (Chromium still paints the OS arrow on top; a normal desktop browser hides it):

Lagging ink ring follows the pointer on fine-pointer devices,
widens over links and buttons, and yields to text/grab cursors.

Some environments report hover:none even with a mouse.
Treat pointerType mouse as capable unless reduced motion is on.

The first pass used a white difference-blend ring that vanished on
cream paper, and it stayed off when the OS asked to reduce motion.
Draw an ink ring instead, keep it on with reduced motion (no lag),
and inject cursor:none last so Uno pointer utilities cannot win.

Production still ships from main. PRs upload to a non-main Pages
branch so a clickable preview exists before merge.
