Can't compile addon - for 21.1.0-Omega

I am following the process in readme page and it worked like a cham for pvr , rtmp ... but I fail with ffmpegdirect.

I type the command:
inputstream.ffmpegdirect/build$ cmake -DADDONS_TO_BUILD=inputstream.ffmpegdirect -DADDON_SRC_PREFIX=../.. -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Debug -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=../../xbmc/build/addons -DPACKAGE_ZIP=1 ../../kodi/cmake/addons/

and get the cmake error :
CMake Error at CMakeLists.txt:510 (message):
inputstream.ffmpegdirect did not match any of the supported addons. A list
of supported addons can be viewed by building the 'supported_addons'
target. Addon definitions are loaded from ADDONS_DEFINITION_DIR
(/home/tpgre/.kodi/kodibuild/kodi/cmake/addons/addons).

I would be glad if I could get some help to sort out this.

Are you using the Omega branch ffmpegdirect?

You don’t mention what platform you are building on?

I am building for debian - bookworm, from Github sources.
Kodi compiles well, inputstream.rtmp, inputstrea.adaptative, also git checkout 21.1.0-omega ....

I don’t think you need to build for Debian, that should be available.

I have an issue with the KODI package in debian, It just doen't connect to my iptv provider.
VLC connects very well with the credentials.

So I tried my own way and It got no cnxion to the provider. If i do not succeed, I may be consider something else.

Try setting the user agent to vlc or a browser user agent in the addon settings

I am having the same issue in 21.3 Omega which I built from source in Ubuntu 24.04.

I need the inputstream.ffmpegdirect addon to install IPTV Manager but I am unable to compile inputstream.ffmpegdirect from source (git clone --branch Omega https://github.com/xbmc/inputstream.ffmpegdirect.git).

When I try to install the IPTV Manager add-on I get:
"The dependency on inputstream.ffmpegdirect version 0.0.0 could not be satisfied".

When I try to compile with:

make   -DADDONS_TO_BUILD=inputstream.ffmpegdirect   -DADDON_SRC_PREFIX=../..   -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Release   -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/opt/kodi   ../../cmake/addons

I get the same error:

That usually happens when a branch of kodi used that came before ffmpegdirect was launched. Strange that you get it

Indeed it's weird but manually creating the inputstream.ffmpegdirect/ folder in /home/kodi/kodi/cmake/addons/addons and the expected content works:
