In resilient.sile v3.x and v4.x some components were changed (e.g. fancytoc), and an attempt at compiling this book with the updated module raises an error.
There are also a number of things that are available out-of-the-box (e.g. frontmatter), avoiding the need to use SIL escapes.
If you don't mind, I'll open a PR here and propose the changes -- at the same time as I tried a minimal update just to see what it would give here, I found a few bugs in resilient v4.0, for which a workaround is easy, but that's a good occasion for me to fix them in a v4.1 🐱
