Hi,

My token is expired so I moved my cache.json and rerun the python script. I get the url to authenticate but when I click on it I got this:

I could generate token with the tesla_auth and use it with teslapy.
So the teslapy is working except the token generation.

Generating the token with tesla_auth works for me. The issue is that the redirect URI has changed to tesla://auth/callback and simply changing this in the TeslaPy code doesn't work as webview (at least on MacOS) and browsers can't handle tesla:// URLs.

Confirmed that generating tokens using https://github.com/adriankumpf/tesla_auth works for me too.

Can also confirm, getting access token and using it for TeslaPy works - as a temporary solution until the token gets invalid.
Is there someone working on it for TeslaPy?

Unfortunately the token obtained from tesla_auth expires after 8 hours and the 403 error occurs again.

Oh, so that’s why it wasn’t working today. I recreated the token and wanted to test again for a few days to see what happened. Now, I know.

The fix implemented in niklaswa/tesla-order-status#29 uses curl_cffi and seems to be the simplest.
