At the moment the usage scenarios for the Green Metrics Tool (see energy-tests/gmt/) use explicit sleep commands to ensure dependent services are ready. Since January 2024 GMT supports the Docker Healthcheck feature, so no manual sleeps are required (green-coding-solutions/green-metrics-tool#637).
