The Linux kernel removed support for 31-bit S390 userspace in Linux v6.19, see commit 0d79affa31cb for more information. We should continue to support S390 for several more years to support users on older systems, but we should consider deprecating and removing the S390 arch/ABI at some point.
It is important to note that the 64-bit S390 arch/ABI is still fully supported upstream.
