Makefile Approach

Is there a shell / Makefile that can do all this in the same ways you're using only javascript to do it?

This is nice to have, but not really easy to change, I assume you where following some sort of process to make this packing process. It may not have started with a make file but you typed in shell commands to get things working before right? Have you anything that could help me make the make file version? Thanks.

Lots of requires, all very spaghetti ...

Why does this cli completely move away from building the kernel ... and fetches it from repo ?
And it turns out the kernel file gets downloaded in .runtime/kernel.2064 in your home directory, why make this so much more spaggetti?

I have more questions, why do all the complicated initrd structure? Couldn't a normal tar file do?
