From cac1027e5edb5f1178ccd668994b06e85a53c00d Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Austin Schuh Date: Thu, 17 Sep 2026 21:26:19 -0700 Subject: [PATCH 1/2] Only report updated files when some were updated update-yaml --write prints its count unconditionally, so a run that changed nothing still prints "0 files were updated". Build systems that show a tool's output print that line for every target on every build, which buries the runs that did change something. Say nothing when the count is zero, which matches the dry run path below it: that already distinguishes "All files up to date" from a list of pending changes.
