Issue Information

East Ayrshire Council changed their collections calendar on 01/05/2026 and the integration no longer works.

The new setup is similar to Stirling Council's, using the "powered by RouteWare" calendar and recollect API URL. New bins are being rolled out across the council area in 2026 and new bins are being added to the calendar.

All collections, except Garden have "+Food" appended. I've included the list because I'm not sure if the "/" symbol needs to be escaped to prevent errors.

Current Bins:
Trolley+Food
General Waste+Food
Garden Waste

New Bins (after "Transition Week" event):
General Waste+Food
Garden Waste
Paper/Card+Food
Plastic/Cans+Food
Glass+Food

Working addresses include 26 Back Rogerton Crescent, Auchinleck, KA18 2EU and The Chestnuts Pine View, Sinclairston, KA18 2RT

I've tried to update and test this myself but I've been unable to get VSCode to open the development container.
