This project seems abandoned, @kishorevarma. I created a PR already that fixes this - you can try using my branch in the meantime: #43

It's not dead, as one of my co-workers contributes to it no, its just that more of the action is in core and shape now since a big refactor.

@SPSpwetter to me, something that's left standing for more than two months with a simple PR trying to fix a dependency issue is abandoned. The project is unusable with the current tech stack because of a simple PR that was ignored.
If your colleague doesn't want people dropping the ball and looking for other projects, tell him to fix that asap. The same PR is also on core and shape to no avail.
