From 1f04d39b190d3ec8a9dc8d996fd5477d8d24bc1e Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Josh Taillon Date: Thu, 17 Sep 2026 13:48:05 -0600 Subject: [PATCH 1/2] Clarify workflow names The two cleanup workflows were easy to confuse: cleanup-previews.yml ("Cleanup PR Previews") removes Connect preview bundles, while preview-cleanup.yml removes gh-pages docs previews. Rename both files and give every workflow a descriptive display name. --- .../{cleanup-previews.yml => connect-previews-cleanup.yml} | 2 +- .../{preview-cleanup.yml => docs-previews-cleanup.yml} | 4 ++-- .github/workflows/pkgdown.yaml | 2 +- .github/workflows/preview-fork-notice.yml | 2 +- .github/workflows/py-check.yaml | 2 +- .github/workflows/py-release.yaml | 2 +- .github/workflows/scripts-check.yaml | 2 +- .github/workflows/verify-shared-synced.yaml | 2 +- 8 files changed, 9 insertions(+), 9 deletions(-) rename .github/workflows/{cleanup-previews.yml => connect-previews-cleanup.yml} (96%) rename .github/workflows/{preview-cleanup.yml => docs-previews-cleanup.yml} (98%) diff --git a/.github/workflows/cleanup-previews.yml b/.github/workflows/connect-previews-cleanup.yml similarity index 96% rename from .github/workflows/cleanup-previews.yml rename to .github/workflows/connect-previews-cleanup.yml index 4a0d9b9e..ada9f145 100644 --- a/.github/workflows/cleanup-previews.yml +++ b/.github/workflows/connect-previews-cleanup.yml @@ -1,4 +1,4 @@ -name: Cleanup PR Previews +name: Cleanup Connect PR previews on: pull_request: diff --git a/.github/workflows/preview-cleanup.yml b/.github/workflows/docs-previews-cleanup.yml similarity index 98% rename from .github/workflows/preview-cleanup.yml rename to .github/workflows/docs-previews-cleanup.yml index c724e346..b0f05af7 100644 --- a/.github/workflows/preview-cleanup.yml +++ b/.github/workflows/docs-previews-cleanup.yml @@ -11,7 +11,7 @@ # file on the default branch, so this job cannot run at all until it merges. # Its dry run defaults to true so the first manual run reports rather than # deletes. -name: preview-cleanup.yml +name: Cleanup docs previews on: pull_request: @@ -37,7 +37,7 @@ jobs: # would cancel a queued preview.
