From f8d2c5e142d1cb3d704d13bcef7e73d20e62864a Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: erKam Date: Sun, 11 Oct 2026 04:20:18 +0000 Subject: [PATCH 1/2] feat(http): add agent tools for HTTP fault rules Agents could read HTTP calls but could not see or change the fault and mock rules the panel edits. Add list-http-rules (read), set-http-rule and remove-http-rule (writes). The writes reuse the server's rule state and the sanitizeRules pass behind the panel's set-http-rules RPC, check input the way the panel's rule form does (pattern, method, target, status list, 0 to 10000 ms delay, JSON body, 50 rule limit) and answer with the reason when they refuse. Patterns and bodies are masked like recorded calls. The writes are listed under http in ACTION_TOOLS, so actions.http and agent.readOnly drop them, and all three are in AGENT_INSPECTOR and PAGE_AGENT_ENTRIES. Rules are server-wide and apply to every tab, so the tools take no page argument. --- apps/docs/src/content/agents/mcp-server.md | 4 +- apps/docs/src/content/agents/tools.md | 22 +- .../content/getting-started/configuration.md | 2 +- apps/docs/src/content/inspectors/ssr-http.md | 15 +- .../devtools/src/__tests__/config.test.ts | 15 +- .../src/__tests__/docs-tool-count.test.ts | 3 + .../src/__tests__/http-rule-tools.test.ts | 189 ++++++++++++++++ packages/devtools/src/config.ts | 8 +- packages/devtools/src/devframe.ts | 76 +++++++ packages/devtools/src/rpc/http-rule-tools.ts | 206 ++++++++++++++++++ 10 files changed, 527 insertions(+), 13 deletions(-) create mode 100644 packages/devtools/src/__tests__/http-rule-tools.test.ts create mode 100644 packages/devtools/src/rpc/http-rule-tools.ts diff --git a/apps/docs/src/content/agents/mcp-server.md b/apps/docs/src/content/agents/mcp-server.md index d51d4d9e..2932609a 100644 --- a/apps/docs/src/content/agents/mcp-server.md +++ b/apps/docs/src/content/agents/mcp-server.md @@ -208,7 +208,7 @@ The server registers tools with a colon, as `pangular:get-routes`.
