I just started using this and just wanted to say this is looking very solid- but moreover, I have a lot of respect for your business practices. From what I've seen so far you guys are doing what you can to NOT be scummy. I'm selfhosting this as I'm only using this for myself but even I'm looking forward to your paid release so I can recommend it to other users. Loved the responsible AI disclosure on the website, appreciate how you guys approach the open source community (pro features that make sense for an enterprise!), love how easily it was to come across the attribution page- just a lot of respect for how you guys are working right now.

Who would've thought people WANT to side with quality businesses? Tried using Plane and simply hated it. They're rich and will likely stay rich but boy oh boy am I glad to be away from them already.

That's all. I came in very apprehensive but I love what I'm seeing so far, and I firmly believe that if folks are doing something well they should be told. Thanks again!

Hey @tealtxgr - Thank you very much for the encouraging words! I've been self-hosting apps since 2003 so this was always the natural default for me. Since then, I have used so much great work from open source contributors myself, it was about time to give back in a proper way.
I have spent 15 years working with Atlassian products (and especially the self hosted versions) only to watch them pull the rug from under everybody. I realized we needed a proper open source foundation for a work management platform, self hosted by default and not intended as a SaaS marketing funnel.
You mentioned pro features that make sense for an enterprise, and that's a deliberate decision I hope I calculated well. The features in Pro exist to be supported by actual people and of course they need real money to pay their bills. But the open source edition doesn't get kneecapped to sell these. I actually added the AGPL guarantee to the CLA to codify this for the future too.
