learn-preview needs .NET8 to run on VS Code with the latest version #965

Description

@ADD-David-Sancho

Updating the learn-preview extension to the latest version (2.0.4) shows that an exact version of .NET8 is required to start the extension.

Currently, my environment only has .NET9 installed and I would like to avoid installing .NET8 just to run this extension. Is it intended to support in the future that strictly .NET8 is not required? If so, what is the timeline?

This was not the case with the previous version (1.0.10).

I am using VS Code 1.100.3.
