From 20b7402a8db42a7841973be1ab73c43859d19682 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Avner Matan <137777701+avner-m@users.noreply.github.com> Date: Thu, 10 Sep 2026 15:01:12 +1200 Subject: [PATCH] fix(react-native-mdocs-holder-tutorial): set bleMode to MDocPeripheralServer Many modern POS terminals do not support BLE server mode. Starting the proximity presentation session with the holder as the BLE peripheral server maximizes compatibility when those terminals act as mDoc verifiers. The proximity presentation tutorial on MATTR Learn documents and explains this option, but the completed app was still relying on the SDK default, so the two did not match. --- .../app/proximity-presentation.tsx | 2 ++ 1 file changed, 2 insertions(+) diff --git a/react-native-mdocs-holder-tutorial/react-native-mdocs-holder-tutorial-complete/app/proximity-presentation.tsx b/react-native-mdocs-holder-tutorial/react-native-mdocs-holder-tutorial-complete/app/proximity-presentation.tsx index 5fb0ee2..7227fc7 100644 --- a/react-native-mdocs-holder-tutorial/react-native-mdocs-holder-tutorial-complete/app/proximity-presentation.tsx +++ b/react-native-mdocs-holder-tutorial/react-native-mdocs-holder-tutorial-complete/app/proximity-presentation.tsx @@ -2,6 +2,7 @@ import RequestCredentialSelector from "@/components/RequestCredentialSelector"; import { useHolder } from "@/providers/HolderProvider"; import { + BleMode, type CreateProximityPresentationSessionOptions, type PresentationSessionSuccessRequest, createProximityPresentationSession, @@ -64,6 +65,7 @@ export default function ProximityPresentation() { const handleStartSession = useCallback(async () => { try { const options: CreateProximityPresentationSessionOptions = { + bleMode: BleMode.MDocPeripheralServer, onRequestReceived: (data) => { if ("error" in data) { handleError(
