There's a breaking change to build coming to support the analyzer Element2 APIs.
Am I right in thinking that graphql_codegen does not analyze Dart source?
Then, there should be no breakage, maybe the pubspec just needs updating :)
However, there have also been changes to build_test for build_runner 2.5.0, so there may be work needed there.
I'm hoping to get the most-used builders through these changes reasonably quickly, so, filing this issue to make sure you're aware and so I can help with any problems :)
I expect the non-prerelease build 3.0.0 will go out the week of July 7th. Then I'll continue performance+usability work.
