This repository itself is named "Trek-Long-Island" and uses [private] company's trademarked name and identity, along with the copyrighted artwork, to host and distribute content without authorization. [private] holds a copyright registration for this artwork that he obtained without authorization from the actual creator. This registration is currently being challenged; the U.S. Copyright Claims Board has twice rejected [private]'s related infringement claim as improperly filed, for reasons including that [private] appears to have created the work for [private] use, meaning [private] may hold an implied license, not the reverse.
