Matomo & Google Analytics config needs

The Tableau report from Matomo is showing a severe drop-off of traffic to the site beginning July. In contrast, Google Analytics appears overinflated likely due to bots not being filtered out.

Please help with the following:

1. Troubleshoot Matomo tracking code to ensure it is capturing usage metrics properly.
2. Determine how best to exclude bot traffic in Google Analytics reports.

A preliminary look suggests that we need to work on the Tableau report - I'll check in with Mark.

In Matomo, I see over 7000 visits from the US during July 2026, so hopefully, visits are being tracked correctly and this is just a reporting problem.
