Wasm64 memory limit greater than 16GB

Is there a reason for the memory limit to be 16GB in wasm64?

I cannot link with -sMEMORY64=1 and -sMAXIMUM_MEMORY=32GB

Understood. Is it possible for that limit to increase in the future? We have users that build scientific/engineering visualization applications that load and display large meshes. These use cases need as much memory available on the system. In our opinion, 16GB is still quite low since most engineers have laptops with atleast 32-64 GB RAM.

Yes, its possible to increase this limit in the figure. I would start by opening an issue in the WebAssembly/spec repo proposing this increase.
