Unclear documentation between the difference of time.Now and tpb.Timestamp

The codelab #8 at https://codelabs.developers.google.com/codelabs/cel-go#8 is not clear in the distinction between time.Now() and tpb.Timestamp{}.

To Fix

• Document exactly and in detail the reasons why you would use time.Now() versus &tpb.Timestamp{Seconds: time.Now().Unix()}.
• What are the effects of choosing one over the other.

There's actually no functional difference at this point. Perhaps, at the time of authoring the codelab there was, but not presently. The common/types/provider.go has an adapter the converts the values to a common type under the covers if either is seen as input to the program

That'll be an easy rectification then in the codelab and documentation that they are functionally the same.
