Working on setting up PRTG monitoring

• data pulled in the last 30 hours
• http monitor: query to make sure the service is up and running
• CPU utilization,
• Memory usage
• Low disk space alert
• URL monitoring
• Uptime/reboot events

Sensors for monitoring data disks with active data models have been set up now on all 4 servers with what Cheryl and Tim has provided me the details for. It is now set to notify me . I will keep an eye on the alerts I receive and forward when needed so it can be verified if monitoring works as expected. Then once all looks good, I will add DL or individuals who are to be alerted. We can always make changes to the existing configurations/script when needed For Ex. If any data model has to be excluded/included .

Next steps :

• These scripts have to be moved to a different server since they cannot sit on the same server that we are monitoring.
• Add required people to be alerted going forward once everything looks good

Note :
This script that is implemented is just a read-only so it should not have any impact on services or operations running on these servers.
